Responsibilities:
- Airline Ticketing:
- Handle the entire airline ticket booking process, including issuing tickets for domestic and international flights.
- Stay updated on airline regulations, fare rules, and industry trends.
- Customer Service:
- Assist clients in selecting suitable travel options based on their preferences and budget.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Booking and Reservation Management: ( Good knowledge of CRS/GDS – Galileo Or Amadeus)
- Process ticket bookings accurately and efficiently using relevant reservation systems.
- Confirm reservations, handle changes, cancellations, and issue refunds when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with airline and travel industry regulations.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Promote additional services, such as seat upgrades, travel insurance, and other relevant offerings to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.
- Achieve sales targets by effectively communicating the value of various travel products.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Utilize ticketing and reservation systems to manage bookings and customer information.
- Stay updated on industry technologies and trends to enhance operational efficiency.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and organize travel documents, itineraries, and other necessary paperwork related to ticket bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and bookings.
7. Crisis Management:
- Handle unforeseen circumstances, such as flight delays or cancellations, with professionalism and urgency.
- Provide alternative solutions and assistance during travel disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Travel Agent with a focus on ticketing.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of airline regulations, fare structures, and travel destinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven sales and customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing ticket bookings and documentation.
- Certification in Travel and Tourism or related field is an asset.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
