We are seeking an accomplished Senior Planning Manager with extensive experience in mixed-use high-rise developments to lead planning, scheduling, and project controls for complex vertical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RCC and post-tensioned slab construction for high-rise towers and a proven track record of delivering large-scale developments on time and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain comprehensive master project schedules for mixed-use high-rise developments using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software. Create detailed construction sequences integrating all trades, with particular focus on structural works including RCC frame construction and PT slab execution. Establish critical path analysis and identify scheduling risks and mitigation strategies across multiple tower phases.
Technical Planning Leadership Lead planning activities for high-rise structural systems, including detailed sequencing for RCC core and column construction, PT slab post-tensioning operations, and coordination with MEP rough-ins. Develop resource-loaded schedules accounting for specialized equipment requirements (climbing formwork, PT equipment, tower cranes) and labor allocation across concurrent tower construction. Optimize construction methodology and sequencing to maximize efficiency in vertical construction.
Project Controls & Monitoring Implement robust project monitoring systems tracking progress against baseline schedules, analyzing variances, and developing recovery plans. Prepare detailed progress reports, S-curves, and earned value analysis for senior management and stakeholders. Conduct regular schedule reviews with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment and proactive problem-solving.
Stakeholder Coordination Interface with design teams, contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities to ensure planning alignment with technical requirements and regulatory approvals. Lead planning workshops and coordination meetings to resolve interface issues between architectural, structural, MEP, and facade works. Collaborate with commercial teams to support contract administration, claims analysis, and EOT assessments.
Risk Management Identify potential schedule risks and develop contingency plans for critical activities. Assess impact of design changes, weather delays, and unforeseen conditions on project timelines. Provide planning input for value engineering initiatives and constructability reviews.
Required QualificationsExperience 16-18 years of progressive experience in construction planning and project controls, with minimum 10 years focused on high-rise developments. Demonstrated experience planning multiple mixed-use towers (residential, commercial, retail, hospitality components) exceeding 30 floors. Proven expertise in RCC and post-tensioned slab construction planning for high-rise structures. Track record of successfully delivering complex developments with values exceeding $200 million.
Technical Skills Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Management. Strong working knowledge of RCC construction methodologies, PT slab systems, climbing formwork, and vertical construction techniques. Familiarity with BIM coordination and 4D scheduling integration. Competency in Microsoft Project, Excel advanced functions, and project management software.
Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. PMP certification or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Professional engineering registration is an advantage.
