Job Summary
The Peeling Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the peeling section to ensure smooth production, optimum machine utilization, quality veneer production, and adherence to safety standards. The role involves coordinating manpower, monitoring production targets, and ensuring efficient machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily peeling operations and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Allocate work among operators and helpers as per the production plan.
- Ensure veneer quality, thickness, moisture, and recovery meet company standards.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize downtime.
- Ensure timely availability of logs by coordinating with the Log Yard and Debarker sections.
- Monitor production output and reduce veneer wastage.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping (5S) within the department.
- Train and guide operators on machine operation and quality standards.
- Maintain daily production, downtime, and quality reports.
- Implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety regulations.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of plywood manufacturing processes.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Diploma / ITI / 12th Pass (Mechanical/Wood Technology preferred).
- Experience: 3–5 years in veneer peeling operations, including supervisory experience.

Salary Range (India)
- Experienced: ₹22,000–₹30,000 per month
- Senior Supervisor: ₹30,000–₹40,000+ per month (depending on experience and plant capacity)
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
