Job Summary
Ferromonk Steel Structure Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Plasma Cutting Operator to operate CNC plasma cutting machines for the fabrication of steel components used in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reading fabrication drawings, handling steel plates, and ensuring accurate cutting as per production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Plasma Cutting Machines for cutting steel plates and sections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting plans.
- Set machine parameters and ensure accurate dimensions and cutting quality.
- Load and unload raw materials using appropriate handling methods.
- Monitor machine performance and carry out routine maintenance activities.
- Inspect finished components and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize plate utilization.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet daily targets.
- Maintain records of production and machine operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plasma Cutting Operator, preferably in the PEB or structural steel fabrication industry.
- Knowledge of CNC Plasma Cutting Machines and nesting software.
- Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of measuring instruments and quality checks.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and material handling.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in structural steel or PEB manufacturing will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
