Job Responsibilities:
Daily Personal Care
- Help with bathing, showering, and hair care.
- Assist with dressing and selecting appropriate clothes.
- Support with toileting and personal hygiene needs.
- Help with eating and feeding if required.
Health and Medication
- Give timely reminders to take prescribed medicines.
- Monitor vital signs like blood pressure or sugar levels if trained.
- Track physical changes, pain, or shifts in mood.
- Report health concerns to family members or doctors.
Household Support and Meals
- Cook healthy meals that match special diet rules.
- Do light cleaning, washing, and ironing.
- Keep living areas tidy and free of clutter or trip hazards.
- Manage grocery shopping and basic household errands. [1, 2, 3]
Mobility and Safety
- Help the senior move safely from bed to chairs or a wheelchair.
- Support walking around the house or outdoors.
- Prevent falls by removing hazards and using support bars.
- Assist with transport to doctor visits or social outings.
