Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site as per approved drawings and specifications
- Ensure proper execution of work with respect to quality, safety, and timelines
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings and guide site team accordingly
- Monitor labour productivity and allocate tasks efficiently
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality control standards
- Check materials received on site and ensure proper usage and storage
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), labour reports, and site documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with safety norms and maintain safe working conditions
- Assist in quantity surveying, billing, and BOQ verification
- Identify and resolve on-site issues, delays, or technical challenges
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site execution
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office
- Good communication and team coordination skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality practices
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3– 6 years of experience in construction / site execution (residential / commercial projects preferred)
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience in RCC work, finishing work, and site supervision
- Familiarity with IS codes and construction standards
- Basic understanding of billing and quantity take-off
