Zash is a growing conscious lifestyle start-up brand focused on building a strong and engaged community through thoughtful storytelling, elevated visuals, and meaningful content. We are currently in our audience-building phase and are looking for a Social Media Manager who can execute and grow our digital presence organically.
The role works closely with our Brand Communications Lead, who will provide creative direction, brand strategy, visual guidelines, and content direction. We are looking for someone who can translate that vision into engaging social media content and effective platform growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and trend-aware Social Media Manager who understands how to create visually appealing content, manage social media platforms, and grow an engaged audience organically.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable creating content, scheduling and publishing posts, tracking performance, and understanding how to reach the right audience through platform-specific strategies.
Our focus for the first three months is organic growth, brand awareness, community building, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution
- Create visually compelling social media content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Develop short-form video content, reels, stories, carousels, and static posts.
- Assist with content shoots, styling, editing, and content production.
- Maintain a clean, cohesive, and premium visual aesthetic across platforms
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting schedules across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Write engaging captions and optimize content for reach and engagement.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.
Audience Growth & Engagement
- Execute strategies focused on organic audience growth.
- Research trends, hashtags, keywords, and platform updates.
- Engage with followers, creators, and relevant communities.
- Identify opportunities for collaborations and community building.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor content performance and audience insights.
- Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and content effectiveness.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Suggest improvements based on data and platform trends.
Startup Collaboration
- Work closely with the Brand Communications Lead and founding team.
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, content series, launches, and brand storytelling.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership in a startup environment.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.
- Experience creating aesthetically strong visual content.
- Basic photography and videography skills.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Understanding of content strategy, audience behavior, and platform algorithms.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, luxury, wellness, beauty, or consumer brands.
- Experience growing accounts organically.
- Understanding of influencer and community marketing.
- Startup experience is a plus.
Pay: ₹11,388.01 - ₹25,000.00 per month
