Job Summary
The UK Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing accounts, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations, managing bookkeeping activities, and supporting financial reporting for UK-based clients or businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and management accounts.
- Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK accounting standards.
- Support corporation tax and personal tax compliance processes.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Manage payroll records and related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, HMRC, and clients when required.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Experience with UK accounting practices and tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax, and UK GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage 50.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
