Job Overview
Realco Power LLP is hiring a Mechanical Design & Drafting Engineer with hands-on experience in HVAC, Piping, and MEP Fluid Network Design. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, developing layouts, material estimation, and coordinating with clients, production, procurement, and site teams for industrial and commercial projects.
Preference will be given to candidates with core HVAC, Piping, and MEP Fluid Network Design experience. Candidates from unrelated mechanical design domains (Automotive, Plastic Product Design, Tool Design, etc.) will not be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GA, fabrication, shop, and installation drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Software.
- Design HVAC ducting layouts, chilled water piping, utility piping, and MEP fluid networks.
- Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, and material estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, production, procurement, and site teams.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and fabrication-friendly.
- Provide design support during project execution and resolve site-related technical queries.
- Review drawings for compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD (Mandatory); SolidWorks or similar 3D software preferred.
- Mandatory experience in HVAC, Piping, and MEP Fluid Network Design.
- Experience in HVAC duct routing, chilled water piping, utility piping, and mechanical services.
- Knowledge of piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Experience in BoQ/BOM preparation and material selection.
- Good understanding of fabrication, installation, and project execution processes.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
Mandatory Requirement
- Only candidates with core HVAC, Piping, and MEP Fluid Network Design experience should apply.
- Experience in industrial or commercial HVAC and mechanical services projects is essential.
- Knowledge of SS piping system is appreciated.
- Candidates from Automotive, Plastic Product Design, Tool Design, Product Design, or other unrelated mechanical design backgrounds will not be considered.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
