We are looking for an Estimation Engineer to join our team in Kozhikode and support construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and tendering.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO) and material take-offs (MTO).
- Prepare BOQs and project cost estimates.
- Perform rate analysis for labour, materials, and subcontract works.
- Prepare tender pricing and bid documents.
- Coordinate with the Qatar team during the tender process.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain estimation records and tender documentation.
- Support budget preparation, variation orders, and cost analysis.
- Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, QTO, and cost estimation.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- GCC/Qatar project experience is an added advantage.
