Position: Assistant Manager - Business Development

Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Market Expansion. Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across carbon & green credits, environmental audits, plantation projects and landscaping services.
- Maintain and update sales pipelines, forecasts and opportunity trackers.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, quotations, tenders, RFQs and client presentations.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates government bodies, NGOs, real estate developers, industries and institutions. Project Coordination & Execution Support
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables and client commitments to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Assist in post-project reviews, documentation and capture of learnings.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure proposals and projects comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and industry standards
- Support documentation related to carbon/green credit auditing, sustainability reporting and regulatory submissions, as required.
Marketing, Outreach & Brand Building
- Support execution of marketing and outreach initiatives to promote SASA Enviros services and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate participation in conferences, seminars, exhibitions and environmental forums.
- Assist in digital and offline marketing campaigns focused on sustainability, carbon reduction and tree conservation.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collaterals, case studies and success stories.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
- Support engagement with government agencies, regulatory bodies, NGOs and environmental institutions
- Assist in advocacy efforts related to environmental conservation, sustainability practices and carbon reduction initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: MBA / M.Sc. (Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Management or related field preferred)
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic roles
- Experience in environmental services, sustainability, infrastructure, ESG, carbon markets, or related sectors is highly desirable
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong business development and negotiation skills with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding of environmental solutions, sustainability concepts, or carbon markets (preferred)
- Project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, result-oriented and self-driven attitude
