Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist

Job Summary:
The Senior Contract Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure timely availability of materials, resources, and cost efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on execution across procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a reputed University.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of Commercial or Contracts Management experience in construction contracts in the Energy Sector (Renewable, Oil & Gas).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of contractual terms, commercial practices, and execution workflows.
- Contract lifecycle management from Pre Award till Closure.
- Ability to manage contractors and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre Award Work:
- Pre-qualify Contractors and prepare Bidder's list as per project requirement.
- Sourcing activities including preparing RFP, Receiving and Evaluating proposals, Scope & Terms and Conditions Clarifications, Support Negotiations, Prepare approval reports for management, issue recommendation letters and issue Work Order.
- Evaluate contractor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Post Order Contract Management:
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure package progress for design, supplies, mobilization etc. and completion as per contractual obligations.
- Ensure receipt of contractual obligations such as Bank Guarantees, Letter of Credits, Indemnity, Insurance, Progress Reports etc.
- Conduct Kick off meeting, Weekly Progress review meetings with all stakeholders.
- Prepare and Circulate Running Action Item List (RAIL) to all key personnel.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, and timelines and maintain complete and accurate contract documentation and correspondence.
- Monitor progress and proactively flag risks related to delays, scope changes, or cost impact.
- Evaluate Change Orders, Support Claim Management, Issue Contractual Communications including Amendments, Dispute Resolution.
- Prepare regular status reports on contract performance, risks, and compliance.
- Contract Close out process and release of bank guarantees.
