Experience in performing design calculations using E-Tap / E-Des is essential. Exposure to Process Hazard / Risk Analysis, Hazardous Area Classification, HAZOP / HAZID studies and preparing close-outs is advantageous. Responsibilities includes preparation of single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, motor starting analysis, transient stability analysis, ground grid design, relay coordination and setting calculations, transformers, MCC’s, cable sizing, lighting calculations, electrical equipment specification and layout, datasheets for electrical items, specifications, request for quotations, conducting vendor drawing reviews and vendor design evaluation etc. Good working knowledge in relevant ASME, API, ANSI, DIN, BS, IS, OISD, NEC, IEC, IP codes and standards is must. Hands-on working in E-Tap, E-Des, CYME, lighting calcs software’s is essential.
