Purchase and Store Executive
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Purchase (Purchase Executive Focus)
- Requisition Processing: Handling purchase requisitions after verifying requirements from various departments (nursing, labs, radiology).
- Vendor Management: Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best pricing, credit terms, and quality.
- Purchase Orders (POs): Preparing, issuing, and tracking purchase orders, ensuring they are approved in compliance with hospital policy.
- Quality Control: Ensuring delivered items meet hospital standards, clinical requirements, and NABH guidelines.
2. Inventory & Store Management (Store Executive Focus)
- Stock Management: Managing daily operations of the medical store, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining minimum/maximum stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking, especially for critical medical items.
- Documentation & Records: Maintaining accurate inventory records using ERP software (e.g., SAP, hospital software), including Goods Received Notes (GRN) and issuing notes.
- Storage Conditions: Ensuring proper storage of medicine and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g., cold chain maintenance).
- Expiry Management: Monitoring and managing expiring items, batch details, and conducting regular physical stock audits.
3. Coordination & Reporting
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Collaborating with pharmacy, clinical teams, finance, and administration to ensure smooth operations.
- MIS Reporting: Assisting in preparing purchase reports, stock consumption reports, and MIS for management.
- Billing/Payments: Coordinating with finance for timely vendor payments and reconciling discrepancies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
