Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-driven Production & Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning, vendor coordination, inventory management, quality control, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality standards, optimize production processes, and coordinate seamlessly across procurement, warehouse, customer success, and design teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Plan and manage the end-to-end production lifecycle from order placement to final dispatch.
- Coordinate with manufacturing units, job workers, and vendors to ensure timely production.
- Monitor daily production status and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to production timelines and delivery commitments.
Operations Management
- Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and customer support teams.
- Track operational KPIs and implement process improvements.
- Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day business operations.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of fabrics, trims, packaging materials, and accessories.
- Minimize inventory discrepancies and stock-outs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting.
Quality Control
- Ensure products meet Dressfolk's quality standards before dispatch.
- Conduct quality audits during and after production.
- Work with vendors to reduce defects and improve manufacturing quality.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with production vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate timelines and ensure vendor accountability.
- Evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
Planning & Reporting
- Prepare weekly production and operations reports.
- Monitor order fulfillment, production efficiency, and operational metrics.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in production and operations, preferably in fashion, apparel, or D2C brands.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing and production planning.
- Experience in vendor and factory management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with premium apparel or lifestyle brands.
- Knowledge of artisan-based production and sustainable manufacturing practices.
- Familiarity with inventory and warehouse management systems.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
