The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance across a portfolio of multiple hotel properties or business units within a specific geographic cluster. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies, managing a sales team, and fostering strong client relationships to achieve revenue targets and market share growth for all assigned properties.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the cluster, aligning with overall company objectives and individual property goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals across various properties, ensuring high performance and adherence to sales best practices.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the customer base and increase revenue for all properties in the cluster.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, prepare detailed reports, and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with property General Managers, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to ensure integrated strategies and seamless execution.
- Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment for sales activities.
- Represent the cluster properties at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations to promote services and build brand awareness.
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
- Implement and manage CRM systems to track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress across the cluster.
- Ensure a consistent brand experience and service delivery across all properties within the cluster.
