Position Overview
We are seeking a Services Project Manager to lead customer implementation projects for Tesseract's CPQ, Pricepoint, and enterprise workflow solutions. This role owns the operating rhythm of delivery from kickoff through production transition, keeping scope, schedule, decisions, risks, and customer expectations visible and actively managed. The ideal candidate brings professional services discipline, strong customer presence, practical judgment, and the ability to keep complex implementations moving toward measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities1. People & Team Leadership
The Project Manager will lead project teams through clarity, organization, and accountability. They will align consultants, architects, engineers, customer stakeholders, and leadership around roles, timelines, decisions, and escalation paths. The role will establish a steady delivery cadence, encourage direct communication, resolve conflicts quickly, and ensure each workstream connects to the larger implementation plan.
2. Execution & Delivery
The Project Manager will drive day-to-day delivery across kickoff, discovery, requirements, solution design, configuration, development, testing, training, deployment, and post-launch transition. They will manage schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action items, acceptance checkpoints, customer dependencies, and internal resource coordination. The role will also govern scope changes, prepare leadership updates, and support release readiness.
3. Technical & Product Understanding
The Project Manager must understand enough about CPQ, pricing, integrations, data migration, configuration, environments, testing, and enterprise software delivery to manage complexity effectively. They are not expected to be the technical owner, but they must recognize dependency risks, ask informed questions, understand solution trade-offs, and coordinate technical work across services, product, engineering, and customer IT teams.
4. Communication & Collaboration
The Project Manager will communicate consistently with customers, internal teams, and leadership. They will run effective meetings, publish concise status updates, document decisions, surface risks early, and translate delivery details into actionable decisions. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, professional customer management, thoughtful escalation, and stakeholder alignment during change.
Experience and Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have at least five years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS implementation, consulting, or professional services. They should have a record of managing customer-facing projects, project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder communication. Experience with CPQ, pricing, CRM, ERP, integrations, data migration, UAT, training, or go-live planning is highly valuable.
