Job Context Hindalco Renukoot, since its inception, has a full-fledged Design Office comprising of Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Spare Parts Development sections (Reverse Engineering) capable of undertaking all improvements/developmental works related to Aluminium Production processes. Hindalco gives equal importance to service departments as compared to production department and has been continuously enhancing its capacity mainly through in house efforts. In-house central technical design department is meant to provide Engineering Solutions to all plants to achieve higher production, better maintenance, improvements in existing practices, Safety & Aluminium Sales Promotion.
Major Challenges

Planning, scheduling and prioritizing to meet target, time and urgencies of plant engineering

On Job/site measurement of dimension, maintain the accuracy and sketching drawings.

Managing In-house development of dwg. for various spare parts and import substitution.

Design and engineering with space constraint and minimum down time and minimum cost.

Managing completion of plant engineering jobs, timely and cost effectively.

Enhance production by modifying existing equipment with in-house Re-engineering.

Coordinating plant people in case of breakdown, shutdown, modification, changes and emergencies.

Planning Improvement/ revamping of jobs in existing plants with old/partial availability of engineering data.

Offer Effective & efficient technical solution to internal & external customer within budget & schedule.

Keep abreast of latest / current technology for improvements and design optimization with energy efficiency.

Control measures to plant people for minimizing wastages of water, compressed air, oil, steam etc.
