If your timeline is always full, you notice jump cuts in every video you watch, and you've opened After Effects "just for a quick change" that somehow turned into three hours then we should TALK.
We're looking for a Video Editor to join the creative team at GITAM and help bring stories, events, achievements, and campus experiences to life.
What you'll do:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos (approximately 5–7 deliverables per week).
- Create engaging podcast clips, event highlights, student stories, campaign videos, and social media content.
- Add motion graphics, animations, dynamic text, and visual effects that make content stand out.
- Work with the marketing and content team to turn ideas into scroll-stopping videos.
- Ensure every video is polished, platform-ready, and aligned with the GITAM brand.
- Manage projects independently while maintaining quality and timelines.
You're a good fit if:
- You have 2+ years of video editing experience.
- You understand storytelling, pacing, and what keeps audiences watching.
- You know your way around Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and social-first content.
- You can take a project from raw footage to final export with minimal hand-holding.
- You have a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
Required Skills:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Motion Graphics & Animation
- Sound Editing & Basic Color Correction
Bonus Points If:
- You've worked on podcasts, educational content, creator content, or brand campaigns.
- You know teh tools for edit
- You can suggest creative approaches, not just execute them.
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
