Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Knitting Manager with strong expertise in Jersey and Jacquard knitting operations. The candidate should have deep technical knowledge of knitting processes, machine handling, manpower management, and production planning. The role requires ensuring smooth plant operations with focus on productivity, quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete knitting operations including single jersey, double jersey, jacquard, and specialized knitted fabric developments.• Monitor machine performance and ensure optimum machine utilization and efficiency.• Troubleshoot knitting-related issues such as GSM variation, yarn defects, needle issues, fabric defects, and machine stoppages.• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.• Coordinate with PPC, stores, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.• Manage supervisors, operators, and helpers across shifts.• Plan manpower deployment according to machine loading and production requirements.• Conduct training programs for operators and supervisors.• Ensure fabric quality standards are achieved consistently.• Drive productivity and process improvement initiatives.• Monitor yarn consumption and reduce wastage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / Textile Engineering / Textile Technology or equivalent.• 8–15+ years of experience in Jersey and Jacquard knitting.• Strong knowledge of knitting machines and production parameters.• Experience in production planning and manpower handling.• Leadership, analytical and communication skills.• Knowledge of Excel and production reporting systems.

Pay: ₹10,567.68 - ₹52,502.65 per month
