Job Summary
LingoPrep is hiring an experienced and target-oriented IELTS, PTE, and CELPIP Counsellor for our coaching and test-preparation services.
The ideal candidate must have experience in education counselling, coaching institute sales, IELTS/PTE/CELPIP admissions, or study abroad counselling. The main responsibility will be to counsel students, explain test-preparation courses, follow up with leads, and convert enquiries into enrollments.
Candidates from unrelated sales backgrounds such as gym sales, insurance sales, retail sales, fitness training, real estate, or general field sales should apply only if they have strong education counselling or coaching sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents regarding IELTS, PTE, and CELPIP coaching programs.
Explain IELTS, PTE, and CELPIP exam patterns, course duration, batch timings, fee structure, preparation plans, and admission process.
Handle incoming enquiries from calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, social media, website, and online campaigns.
Convert leads into paid enrollments for IELTS, PTE, and CELPIP coaching.
Follow up with interested students regularly and maintain proper lead status.
Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and pending leads in CRM or Excel.
Coordinate with trainers and academic team regarding batches, demo classes, student progress, and post-enrollment support.
Build strong relationships with students and provide a professional counselling experience.
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
Minimum experience in IELTS, PTE, CELPIP, coaching institute, education sales, admission counselling, or immigration counselling is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of IELTS, PTE, or CELPIP exam structure will be an advantage.
Strong communication, convincing, and closing skills.
Ability to handle targets and follow-up pressure.
Professional phone, WhatsApp, and face-to-face counselling skills.
Basic computer knowledge, Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM knowledge.
Good command of English, Hindi, and Punjabi preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience as an IELTS Counsellor, PTE Counsellor, CELPIP Counsellor, Education Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, Study Visa Counsellor, Coaching Sales Executive, or Immigration Sales Counsellor.
Candidate should be self-motivated, disciplined, result-oriented, and comfortable working with monthly targets.
Candidate must be able to explain course details clearly and convert serious students into enrollments.
Important Note
This role is mainly for candidates with experience in education counselling, IELTS/PTE/CELPIP coaching sales, language test preparation, admissions, or study abroad counselling. Applications from completely unrelated profiles may not be shortlisted.
