Experience Required: 5–10+ years in Steel Trading, Steel Service Centers, Tube Manufacturing, Roll Forming, Roofing Sheets, Shutter Components, or similar metal processing industries.

- Other steel-related products and fabricated components
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Incharge to oversee complete plant operations, inventory management, dispatch activities, production planning, and team coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations
- Manage complete day-to-day plant operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production, loading, unloading, dispatch, and storage activities.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping within the plant.
Production Management
- Plan and monitor daily production schedules.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per management requirements.
- Minimize wastage and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with machine operators and supervisors for maximum output.
- Monitor quality of manufactured products.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Maintain accurate stock records of all raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock verification and cycle counting.
- Monitor coil-wise, size-wise, and product-wise stock movement.
- Prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, and material losses.
- Coordinate with purchase and sales teams regarding stock availability.
Inward & Outward Logistics
- Supervise loading and unloading operations.
- Verify inward material quantities and specifications.
- Ensure proper material identification, stacking, and storage.
- Coordinate vehicle movements and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers.
Dispatch & Documentation
- Prepare and verify:
- Delivery Challans (DC)
- Tax Invoices
- E-Way Bills
- Transport Documents
- Material Dispatch Records
- Ensure all dispatches are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with transporters and customers regarding deliveries.
ERP / Tally & System Management
- Maintain stock entries and inventory records in Tally.
- Update inward, outward, production, and stock transactions.
- Generate stock and dispatch reports for management.
- Ensure system records match physical inventory.
Quality Control
- Verify incoming materials for quantity and quality.
- Ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
- Monitor production quality and reduce rejection rates.
Team Management
- Lead operators, helpers, loading staff, and warehouse personnel.
- Train and guide employees on process improvements.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Maintain attendance and workforce productivity.
Reporting
- Submit daily reports on:
- Production output
- Dispatch status
- Stock position
- Pending orders
- Material shortages
- Operational issues
- Provide regular MIS reports to management.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

- Steel Trading
- Coil Processing
- Tube Manufacturing
- Roofing Sheet Manufacturing
- Shutter Component Manufacturing
- Steel Service Centers
- Metal Fabrication Industries
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GP, GA, HR, and CR steel products.
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Experience in invoicing, DC creation, and E-Way Bill generation.
- Understanding of production planning and dispatch management.
- Knowledge of GST-related documentation.
