Position Summary
The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all on-site construction activities while ensuring timely completion, quality standards, safety compliance, and cost control. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRAs)1. Site Execution
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings and project schedule.
- Ensure work execution meets quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Resolve site execution issues and provide technical guidance to the site team.
2. Project Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.
- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and subcontractors.
3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
- Conduct inspections before, during, and after execution.
- Monitor workmanship and rectify quality deviations immediately.
- Maintain quality checklists and inspection records.
4. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors.
- Verify measurements and work completion before certification.
- Monitor contractor productivity and adherence to timelines.
- Resolve site-related issues affecting project progress.
5. Material Management
- Estimate material requirements.
- Coordinate procurement with the Purchase Department.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Verify receipt and quality of incoming materials.
6. Billing & Measurement
- Prepare and verify BOQs and quantity measurements.
- Certify contractor RA Bills.
- Maintain measurement books (MBs).
- Coordinate with Accounts for timely bill processing.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Promote safe work practices among workers and contractors.
- Report and investigate site incidents, if any.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Prepare Weekly Progress Reports and Monthly MIS.
- Maintain site registers, material records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Record delays, site instructions, and corrective actions.
9. Cost Control
- Monitor project costs against budgets.
- Minimize material wastage and rework.
- Suggest value engineering initiatives.
- Track labour productivity and equipment utilization.
10. Client & Management Coordination
- Attend project review meetings.
- Coordinate with management regarding project milestones.
- Address client and consultant observations promptly.
- Ensure timely closure of snag lists.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Project completed within scheduled timelines.
- Quality standards maintained with minimal rework.
- Material wastage maintained within approved limits.
- Timely submission of reports and documentation.
- Contractor performance and productivity.
- Compliance with safety standards.
- Timely closure of observations and punch points.

- Budget adherence and cost optimization.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in residential, commercial, or township construction.
- Experience in RCC, finishing, and infrastructure works.
- Experience in premium residential or luxury projects will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- AutoCAD (preferred).
- MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Office.
- Billing and measurement.
- Quality control procedures.
- Construction scheduling.
- Vendor and contractor management.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
