Role Summary
The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for delivering a professional, efficient, and patient-friendly front desk experience while ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage patient registration, appointments, and scheduling
- Handle phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and walk-ins efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with doctors, lab, and diagnostic teams
- Manage billing, payments, and invoice generation
- Ensure waiting area discipline and patient flow management
- Support marketing activities (camp bookings, follow-ups, reminders)
- Requirements
- Graduate (preferred) with 1–3 years experience in healthcare/clinic setup
- Strong communication skills (English + Kannada preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge (billing software, Excel, EMR)
- Presentable, organized, and customer-focused
