Electrician
Job Summary
The Hospital Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment to ensure a safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply for hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, sockets, lighting, and power distribution systems.
* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment according to the maintenance schedule.
* Monitor and maintain emergency power systems, including generators, UPS systems, and emergency lighting.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore services with minimal downtime.
* Ensure uninterrupted operation of hospital electrical systems and respond promptly to emergencies.
* Replace defective electrical components, cables, breakers, and fixtures.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
* Follow electrical safety standards, hospital policies, and statutory regulations.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools and testing equipment.
* Support energy conservation initiatives and optimize electrical consumption.
Qualifications
* ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance,
Skills Required
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, and electrical safety.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
