Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting databases.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
- File and organize financial documents and records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accounting software such as TallyPrime
- Knowledge of taxation and payroll procedures.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
