We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager with expertise in handling bulk materials such as bauxite and sponge iron. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, transportation planning, material movement, fleet coordination, and dispatch activities while ensuring safety, cost optimization, and uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage transportation and logistics operations for bauxite, sponge iron, and other bulk raw materials.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound material movement through road, rail, and other transportation modes.
- Ensure timely dispatches and smooth supply of materials to plant operations.
- Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle turnaround time, freight costs, and dispatch planning.
- Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure proper material handling practices.
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, warehouse teams, and production departments for seamless operations.
- Maintain logistics MIS reports, weighbridge records, inventory movement tracking, and dispatch documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Optimize logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Resolve issues related to transit delays, shortages, damages, and transporter performance.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of bulk material handling and logistics operations.
- Experience in handling bauxite, sponge iron, coal, or similar raw materials.
- Good knowledge of computer applications, ERP systems, and logistics software.
- Strong understanding of dispatch planning, inventory coordination, and fleet management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in plant/mining or remote locations.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related technical field.
- Candidates with technical education background will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
