- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budgets.
- Design custom itineraries for domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Offer expert advice on travel destinations, local culture, visa requirements, and safety information
- Sell a range of travel packages (tour packages, luxury vacations, group tours, etc.) and upsell additional services such as excursions, insurance, and upgrades,.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business.
- Coordinate with suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators) to secure the best deals and availability for clients.
- Issue travel documentation, including tickets, vouchers, and itineraries.
- Stay informed on the latest travel trends, industry news, and emerging destinations.
- Research and assess new suppliers, travel products, and tours to ensure clients have access to the best options.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and tour operators, to secure the best rates and deals.
- Negotiate favorable terms and ensure high levels of service from vendors.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in the travel industry, specifically in a consulting or sales role.
- Proven expertise in selling domestic and international travel packages, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
