We are looking for a Proposal Engineer with experience in the Water & Wastewater Treatment Industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for WTP, STP, ETP, RO and other treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals based on client requirements and enquiries.
- Study RFQs, tender documents, BOQ, specifications and scope of work.
- Understand client requirements and prepare suitable water treatment solutions.
- Prepare technical offers, commercial quotations, BOQ and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with Design, Process, Purchase, Projects and Sales teams for proposal preparation.
- Prepare equipment and material specifications based on project requirements.
- Collect and compare vendor quotations for equipment and materials.
- Prepare PFD, basic process details, equipment lists and technical datasheets as required.
- Calculate project costs, material requirements and overall proposal value.
- Ensure proposals are technically accurate and commercially competitive.
- Support the Sales / Business Development team during client discussions and technical clarifications.
- Review tender requirements and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Maintain proposal records, costing sheets and enquiry status.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of WTP, STP, ETP, RO and wastewater treatment systems.
- Understanding of treatment processes and major equipment.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation and costing.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID, PFD, GA drawings and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Strong analytical, estimation and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment Proposal / Estimation / Pre-Sales.
- Experience in preparing proposals for industrial and commercial water treatment projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
