Job Summary
JITAL SOLUTION is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement operations, vendor development, cost optimization, and timely availability of quality raw materials for production. The role requires strong coordination with Production, QA/QC, Stores, Accounts, and Logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and procure raw materials, additives, and packaging materials as per production requirements.
- Develop and manage vendors; evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Monitor market trends and commodity prices for strategic purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure materials meet quality standards and maintain required documentation.
- Prepare and manage purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and GRNs.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent production disruptions due to material shortages.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely material delivery.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce, Science, Agriculture, Food Technology, Fisheries, Veterinary Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Preferred: MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Agri Business, Food Technology, Fisheries, or Animal Nutrition.
