Position Overview
We are looking for an accomplished Principal Architect to lead the design vision and execution of luxury architectural projects. This leadership role requires a highly creative professional with extensive experience in premium residences, villas, and bespoke architectural design. The ideal candidate will drive design excellence, mentor teams, collaborate with clients and consultants, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and design development of luxury residential and high-end architectural projects.
- Establish and maintain the firm's design philosophy and quality benchmarks.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through construction documentation and execution support.
- Present design concepts to HNI/UHNI clients and translate their vision into exceptional architectural solutions.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guide and mentor architects and design teams, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Review architectural drawings, design details, material specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with business development and sales teams during client presentations and design discussions.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Drive innovation by incorporating sustainable design practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (preferred).
- 15–20 years of experience in luxury residential, villa, hospitality, or premium architectural projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization tools.
- Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and detailing.
- Excellent client management, leadership, and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with luxury residences, private villas, boutique hospitality, or premium developments.
- Exposure to engineered wood, timber architecture, façades, fenestration systems, or high-performance building envelopes will be an added advantage.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating with consultants.
