Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor – Automobile CNG Installation
Location: Edappally, Kochi
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mechanical Supervisor to lead our Automobile CNG Installation team. The candidate will supervise CNG kit installations, ensure compliance with safety standards, manage technicians, and maintain high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of CNG kits in petrol vehicles.
- Ensure all installations comply with government and safety regulations.
- Lead, guide, and train CNG installation technicians.
- Inspect completed installations and conduct quality checks.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and installation-related issues.
- Coordinate daily workshop activities and allocate work to technicians.
- Maintain installation records, job cards, and service reports.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and the workshop are maintained properly.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with customers and explain installation procedures when required.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in automobile service or CNG/LPG kit installation.
- Experience supervising workshop technicians is preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and CNG fuel systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CNG conversion kits and fuel systems.
- Team management and workshop supervision.
- Quality inspection and troubleshooting.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining service records.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
