Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Leasing Manager to support the leasing function by driving tenant acquisition, maintaining strong tenant relationships, and contributing to occupancy and revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in leasing, sales, business development, or commercial real estate, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Tenant Acquisition
- Support the leasing of retail, commercial, and kiosk spaces to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Identify,evaluate, and approach prospective tenants, retailers, and brands.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leasing prospects and business opportunities.
- Assist in developing and implementing leasing strategies to maximize asset performance.
Market Research& Business Development
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify emerging trends and leasing opportunities.
- Monitor market dynamics, tenant mix, and competitor activities to enhance leasing effectiveness.
- Identifynew business opportunities and recommend suitable tenant categories and brands.
Tenant Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
- Support tenant onboarding, fit-out coordination, andoperational handover processes.
- Assist in tenant retention initiatives, lease renewals, and expansion discussions.
- Address tenant concerns and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
Lease Administration & Coordination
- Assist in lease negotiations, commercial discussions, and agreement finalization.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of leasing transactions.
- Support the preparation and review of lease documentation and related correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and leasing procedures.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare leasing proposals, presentations, occupancy reports, and management updates.
- Track leasing performance against occupancy, revenue, and business development targets.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, tenant information, and leasing activities.
- Generate periodic reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree inBusiness Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Real Estate, Sales, or Leasing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum2+ years of experiencein Leasing, Commercial Real Estate, Retail Leasing, Sales, Business Development, or a related field.
- Experience in shopping malls, commercial properties, retail developments, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
