CallMissed is an AI-native CRM and customer support platform built for B2C businesses in India. We unify WhatsApp, Voice, Email, and Web Chat into one AI-powered dashboard, with agents that respond 24/7 in 22 Indian languages. We also offer a developer API with 300+ LLM models, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech. We are now accepting early access and growing fast.
The Role
We are hiring a Next.js Intern to help build the dashboards, web experiences, and interactive tools that power CallMissed. This is a hands-on frontend-focused role for someone who loves building fast, polished UIs with React and Next.js and wants to ship real features used by businesses every day. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web interfaces using Next.js and React (dashboards, landing pages, playground, and internal tools).
- Implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI components.
- Integrate frontend with our backend and AI APIs (chat, voice, STT/TTS) including streaming responses.
- Work with real-time features (WebRTC/LiveKit-based voice, live feeds, analytics).
- Collaborate on design systems, state management, and clean, reusable components.
- Add tests and help optimize performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
Tech Stack & Skills
- Solid experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Comfort with HTML, CSS, and a styling approach like Tailwind CSS.
- Understanding of REST/JSON APIs, async data fetching, and handling streaming responses.
- Familiarity with Git and component-driven development.
- Bonus: experience with WebRTC/LiveKit, real-time UIs, charts/analytics, or integrating LLM-powered features.
AI Usage Policy
Using AI tools (such as coding assistants and LLMs) is allowed and encouraged for this role to help you work faster and learn. However, we expect responsible AI usage: review and understand all AI-generated code before shipping it, never paste secrets or sensitive customer data into external tools, handle PII carefully, add appropriate guardrails, and take full ownership of the quality, security, and correctness of what you produce. AI should assist your work, not replace your judgment.
What We're Looking For

- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Good written English and clear communication.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
