Key Responsibilities
- Build cross-platform mobile UI using Flutter for features shared across Android and iOS
- Translate UX Designer's screens into pixel-accurate, performant Flutter implementations
- Integrate with backend APIs and ensure smooth offline/low-bandwidth behaviour for Tier 2–5/rural users
- Optimise app performance, load times, and battery usage across low-end and high-end devices
- Collaborate with Android/iOS Engineers on native-module integration where required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience in the field — IndoChats is an early-stage startup, so this person must be comfortable owning their area end-to-end with limited hand-holding and a small team with Flutter/Dart mobile development
- Proven track record shipping a consumer app to production on both app stores
- Strong understanding of state management, offline-first design, and API integration
- Experience optimising for emerging-market network and device conditions
