Job Summary
We are hiring a Solar Service Technician to handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and servicing of Solar PV systems. The role involves regular site visits, inverter diagnostics, system inspections, and customer issue resolution while following safety and service protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and servicing solar PV systems
- Preventive and corrective maintenance visits
- Inverter diagnostics and fault resolution
- Inspection of panels, DC/AC cabling, junction boxes, and earthing
- Monitoring system performance via mobile/web applications
- Use of tools: multi meter, clamp meter, insulation tester
- Coordination with internal teams for escalations and spares
- Maintaining service visit reports and customer records
- Ensuring safety compliance and professional customer interaction
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Renewable Energy (preferred)
- Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory)
- Willingness to travel
