Core Responsibilities
- Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the daily operations of core healthcare software, including Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Maintain and optimize hospital networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), servers, cloud infrastructure, and data centers to ensure zero downtime.
- Manage data storage, system backups, and robust disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity during emergencies.
- Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance
- Implement advanced cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, encryption, multi-factor authentication, and endpoint security, to safeguard against ransomware and data breaches.
- Ensure all IT systems and data handling workflows strictly comply with healthcare privacy regulations like HIPAA, Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, or ISO 27001, depending on jurisdiction.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and staff training on data privacy and phishing awareness.
- Medical Equipment Integration & Support
- Collaborate with the biomedical engineering team to integrate smart medical devices (IoT/IoMT), patient monitors, and diagnostic equipment into the central EMR network.
- Manage the IT helpdesk team to provide rapid technical support to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff across all shifts (24/7 coverage).
- Direct the procurement, installation, and lifecycle management of all hardware, including workstations, tablets for clinical rounds, and barcode scanners.
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting
- Formulate the hospital's annual IT budget, balancing hardware upgrades, software licensing, and cloud subscription costs.
- Evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts with external IT vendors, software developers, and internet service providers.
- Plan and lead large-scale digital transformation projects, such as migrating to cloud infrastructure or implementing telemedicine platforms.
Pay: ₹17,197.08 - ₹30,000.00 per month
