Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of Salesforce Managed Packages, including 2GP package creation.
- Design scalable, upgrade-safe, and secure architecture aligned with Salesforce best practices.
Review technical designs, code, and configuration to ensure quality and compliance.
Salesforce Package Development
- Create and manage 2GP packages, versioning, and CI/CD integration.
Handle package installation, upgrades, and backward compatibility.
Work with DevOps tools (SFDX, scratch orgs, source-driven development).
Security & Compliance
Ensure all solutions comply with Salesforce Security Review requirements.
Implement and review security best practices, including:
CRUD/FLS enforcement
Sharing rules and access controls
Secure Apex coding (OWASP guidelines)
Secure API integrations
Permission set-based access control
Manage SFDX source-driven development
Prepare app for Salesforce AppExchange Security Review.
Development & Integration
Guide implementation using Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
Design integrations using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, and external services.
Optimize performance, governor limit usage, and error handling.
Collaboration & Communication
Technical point of contact for teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide clear technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
Mentor and support junior developers.
Technical Skills
6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Managed Packages and 2GP.
Proven experience with Salesforce AppExchange Security Review process.
Expertise in:
Apex, LWC, Aura
Salesforce APIs and integrations
SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Team player with mentoring and leadership capabilities.
Ability to lead discussions with both technical and non-technical.
