Job Summary:
The Automobile Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality customer service, and profitability. This role is responsible for managing service advisors, technicians, and support staff; maintaining customer satisfaction; ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards; and driving service revenue growth.
Location: Ghaziabad/Gurgaon Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:
· Plan, organize, and control the service department to meet revenue and efficiency targets.
· Allocate work to technicians and ensure timely completion of service and repair jobs.
· Monitor service workflow and implement process improvements for better turnaround time.
· Ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) service standards and warranty policies.
· Maintain accurate records of all service operations and customer interactions.
Customer Service & Satisfaction:
· Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
· Ensure service advisors provide accurate estimates and explanations of repair needs.
· Promote customer retention through high-quality service and follow-up communication.
· Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and take corrective action as needed.
Team Leadership:
· Recruit, train, and supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
· Set performance goals and conduct regular appraisals and coaching sessions.
· Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Business Management:
· Develop and manage the annual service department budget.
· Monitor KPIs such as labor sales, parts sales, productivity, and profitability.
· Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and revenue generation.
· Prepare and present service performance reports to senior management.
Compliance & Safety:
· Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service facility.
· Enforce company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
· 4–5 years of experience in an automotive service department, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
