Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-oriented Placement Manager to support student career outcomes and strengthen employer partnerships. The role involves coordinating placement activities, engaging with hiring organizations, and facilitating employment opportunities for students and graduates.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills, along with experience in placements, talent acquisition, career services, or employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Identify internship and job opportunities aligned with student profiles and academic programs.
- Coordinate placement drives, recruitment events, career fairs, and employer interactions.
- Act as the primary point of contact between hiring organizations and students.
- Support students with placement-related guidance and career readiness initiatives.
- Track placement activities and maintain accurate records of employer engagement and hiring outcomes.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of placement programs.
- Monitor market trends and hiring requirements to support placement planning.
- Prepare placement reports and maintain placement databases.
- Ensure a positive experience for both employers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Eligibility & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in Placement, Career Services, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Business Development, HR, or Employer Relations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online communication tools.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with educational institutions, training organizations, EdTech companies, staffing firms, or corporate recruitment teams.
- Familiarity with campus placement activities and employer engagement processes.
