Job Title: Purchase Manager
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Qualifications :
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience : 3-5 Years
Key Responsibilities:
· Purchasing Management:
- Plan and manage purchasing activities for materials, goods, and supplies in line with the company’s needs and budget.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices, favorable terms, and high-quality products.
- Manage and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable and timely delivery of goods.
· Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking or under stocking.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and make necessary adjustments to purchasing strategies.
- Implement and manage an effective inventory management system to track stock levels and movement.
· Procurement Documentation:
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and related procurement documentation.
- Ensure that all purchasing transactions are accurately recorded and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions from internal departments, ensuring compliance with budget and quality requirements.
· Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management:
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Regularly review supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
· Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Monitor and manage purchasing costs to stay within budget, while ensuring that quality standards are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and negotiate better terms with suppliers when possible.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, inventory levels, and budget status.
· Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in purchasing and inventory management.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
- Conduct periodic audits of inventory and purchasing records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
· Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, train, and develop purchasing and stores team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the stores and purchasing departments.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that purchasing and inventory management processes run smoothly.
Pay: From ₹80,000.00 per month
