Position : Network Engineer – L1
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable L1 Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of network technologies, with hands-on exposure to Cisco systems, routing protocols, and network monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Cisco device upgrades and license management.
- Assist in managing and monitoring WAN/LAN network infrastructure.
- Provide L1 troubleshooting and support for network-related issues.
- Collaborate with senior network engineers for escalation and resolution.
- Ensure uptime and performance through proactive network monitoring.
Required Skills:
Good understanding of Cisco upgrades and license handling
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and their configurations
Fair understanding of routing protocols, including:
Static Routing
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)
EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol)
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
