We are seeking a competent and detail oriented Naval Architect with approximately three to five years of professional experience in the field of basic and detailed design of Ships. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the conceptual and basic design phases of shipbuilding projects, with focus of hull form development, design optimization, stability assessment and resistance and powering estimation. This role requires a strong foundation in Naval Architecture principles combined with practical exposure to industry standard tools and classification requirement. Key responsibilities would include develop and refine conceptual and basic design deliverables pertaining to Naval Architecture for warships and commercial vessels, perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis, intact and damage stability calculations, develop general arrangement of the vessels. The candidate should have good understanding of the classification society rules and hands on experience on industry standard software including AutoCad, Maxsurf, NAPA and Rhino.
