Roles & Responsibility (Job Profile)
- Communicate production requirements and planning to suppliers.
- Escalate supplier-related issues to the reporting manager.
- Perform stock calculations at regular intervals and report variances.
- Ensure correct material transactions are updated in the system.
- Inform RED (Rejection/Excess/Deficit) items in daily review meetings.
- Monitor inward and outward material activities as per GRN.
- Conduct trial inspections as per engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coach the supplier supervisor team.
- Coordinate daily with suppliers for C-Task execution.
- Contribute to resolving supplier issues and maintaining smooth production.
- Execute C-Task activities without affecting production.
- Perform machine, process, and product changes (Change Management).
- Communicate daily production plans and material requirements effectively.
- Review daily supplier shortages and follow up for timely closure.
- Identify supplier production issues on the shop floor and escalate them.
- Address supplier-related issues with the concerned stakeholders.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance on the shop floor.
- Ensure adherence to the CONFORMANCE TO CALENDAR.
- Submit PMS after review and approval from the reporting manager.
- Ensure adherence to CONFORMANCE TO CALENDAR activities.
- Use FW as per relevance and business requirements.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to company policies.
- Demonstrate a strong learning attitude, self-initiative, accountability, humility, teamwork, ownership, persistence, commitment, transparency, honesty, and timely escalation.
Competency (Candidate Profile)
- Education: B.E. (Mechanical/Production), B. Tech, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- Experience: 3–5 years for B.E./B.Tech candidates or 4–6 years for Diploma holders.
- Experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or production line management.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM tools.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety requirements.
- Good understanding of Kanban and Just-in-Time (JIT) systems.
- Hands-on experience with Sheet Metal, Plastic Moulding, Pressure Die Casting components, Precision Machining, and Brass Machining components.
