Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Operations Head to lead and manage our Study Abroad operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding B2B partnerships with overseas education agents and universities, overseeing the application and documentation teams, ensuring operational excellence, and driving business growth.
Experience in a similar leadership role within the Study Abroad industry is mandatory.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Partnerships
- Identify, approach, and onboard B2B sales agents, education consultants, and recruitment partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and international education providers.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure successful collaboration with institutional partners.
- Expand the company's network of university and agent partnerships across key study destinations.
- Represent the organization in industry events, webinars, partner meetings, and educational fairs.
Operations Management
- Oversee the end-to-end student application and admission process.
- Manage the Application, Documentation, and Operations teams to ensure timely processing of student cases.
- Monitor application quality, turnaround time, and compliance with university requirements.
- Establish and improve operational processes, SOPs, and service standards.
- Ensure smooth coordination between counselling, documentation, finance, and partner institutions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the operations team.
- Set departmental goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
- Conduct regular team reviews, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and partner acquisition.
- Prepare and present operational reports, partnership updates, and business performance metrics to management.
- Identify business opportunities and implement growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international education regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Study Abroad industry.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a leadership/operations management role.
- Proven experience in university onboarding and B2B agent partnership development.
- Strong understanding of international admissions, documentation, visa processes, and student recruitment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of international universities and education agents.
- Experience handling multi-destination admissions (UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, Malta, etc.).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and student management systems.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of universities onboarded.
- Number of active B2B agents onboarded.
- Application processing turnaround time.
- Offer letter and visa success rates.
- Team productivity and operational efficiency.
- Revenue generated through partner channels.
- Compliance and documentation accuracy.
Salary: Best in the industry, based on experience and performance.
Industry Experience Requirement: Candidates without prior experience in the Study Abroad industry will not be considered.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
