We at Shree Bajrang Motors Pvt. Ltd are looking for a Warranty Manager who will be responsible for managing all warranty-related operations, ensuring compliance with Ashok Leyland warranty policies, maximizing warranty claim recovery, minimizing claim rejections, and maintaining accurate documentation and coordination between the workshop, spare parts, and customers. Candidates with the following hands-on experience are welcome to apply:
1. Warranty Claim Management:
- Verify and process all warranty claims as per Ashok Leyland warranty guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission of warranty claims to the OEM portal.
- Scrutinize job cards, inspection reports, repair orders, and parts replaced under warranty.
- Monitor claim approval status and ensure maximum recovery of warranty revenue.
- Follow up with AL officials for pending and disputed claims.
- Maintain claim submission and settlement records.
2. Warranty Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure proper documentation of warranty repairs.
- Verify labor operations, parts consumption, and defect codes before claim submission.
- Maintain warranty files, claim records, photographs, and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with Ashok Leyland warranty manuals, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Prepare records for warranty audits and inspections.
3. Technical Validation:
- Validate root cause of failures before warranty claim submission.
- Coordinate with workshop managers, supervisors, and technicians for technical clarification.
- Verify whether failures are manufacturing defects, operational issues, accidental damage, or customer misuse.
- Escalate complex cases to the AL technical support team.
4. Warranty Parts Management:
- Ensure proper tagging and storage of warranty parts.
- Maintain the warranty scrap yard as per guidelines.
- Monitor return of defective parts to Ashok Leyland within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department regarding warranty stock and claim requirements.
- Prevent loss of claim value due to improper storage or disposal of warranty parts.
5. Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the dealership and the Ashok Leyland warranty department.
- Coordinate with service advisors, workshop supervisors, technicians, the parts department, and the accounts department.
- Resolve customer concerns related to warranty coverage.
6. MIS & Reporting:
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warranty reports.
Track:
- Warranty claim value submitted.
- Warranty claim value approved.
- Pending claims.
- Rejected claims.
- Warranty recovery percentage.
- Parts return status.
- Present warranty performance reports to management.
Required Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in: Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
Required Technical Expertise:
- Ashok Leyland Warranty Policies.
- Warranty Claim Procedures.
- Warranty Audit Requirements.
- Extended Warranty Programs.
- SAP
- Warranty Claim Portals
Required Experience:
Total Experience: 6–10 Years.
Warranty Experience: Minimum 4–6 Years.
Industry: Commercial Vehicles / Heavy Vehicles.
Preferred Background: Ashok Leyland.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
