Job description
- Diagnosis all patient vision, eye disease, vision disorder.
- Diagnosis as per clinical protocol.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the department.
- Assist all specialty clinics in rotation
- Coordinate with doctors in patient care and procedures.
- Maintain the equipment and accessories under possession with utmost care and self responsibility.
- Participate in outreach programs and academic events.
- Participate in scientific sessions and training programs to update knowledge.
- Manage the contact lenses clinic in rotation.
- Coordinate with other departments : Optical Staff , Counselors regarding IOL lenses for surgery patients etc
- Ensure patients feel comfortable during investigation.
- Ensure that patients are not kept waiting too long for investigation.
- In case of any problem immediately inform CH
- Always follow the OPD Procedure / Procedure manual.
- Check the appointment and as per that allot the patients to the respective counters.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of binocular vision principles and disorders.
- Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams and binocular vision tests.
- Knowledge of various treatment modalities for binocular vision problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other eye care professionals.
Qualification
B.Sc (Optometry)/Dip in Optometry

0 to 2 yrs
