Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to support the merchandising and product development process for Leather Bar Cabinets, Coffee Tables, and other furniture/home décor products.
The ideal candidate should have experience in product merchandising, order coordination, client communication, production follow-up, and maintaining product-related records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing merchandising activities for leather furniture and home décor products.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, production teams, and internal departments.
- Follow up on product development, samples, orders, and production schedules.
- Prepare and maintain product details, order information, costing data, and related records.
- Monitor order progress and support timely completion of assigned activities.
- Coordinate regarding product specifications, materials, finishes, and customer requirements.
- Support the merchandising team in handling product-related queries and updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regular status reports.
- Assist in ensuring product requirements and quality expectations are properly communicated.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or in a similar merchandising profile.
- Experience in furniture, leather products, home décor, or related products will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of product development and order follow-up.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with different teams.
Preferred Profile
Candidates with experience in Leather Bar Cabinets, Coffee Tables, Furniture, Home Décor, or Export Merchandising will be preferred.
