Role Purpose:
The Business Solution Architect will evaluate Aetna’s existing technology ecosystem, identify opportunities for optimization, and design scalable, AI-enabled solutions. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, enhancing member experience, and driving cost optimization through AI, automation, and modern architecture practices.
Role Overview:
This is a strategic, high-impact role that bridges business needs, engineering teams, and AI initiatives. The architect will assess current platforms, applications, and workflows, and recommend scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and healthcare compliance standards.
Initially, the role will be dedicated to the Aetna account (3–6 months), driving AI-led transformation and system optimization. Over time, the scope will expand to support broader commercial accounts, helping shape their AI adoption and technology roadmaps.
The role requires a consultative mindset, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing platforms, applications, and infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
- Design and recommend scalable, AI-enabled solution architectures.
- Identify and drive AI/GenAI use cases, including automation, prompt optimization, and system enhancements.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve performance and efficiency.
- Partner with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders on AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive cost optimization, performance improvement, and operational efficiency across systems.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Experience
- 10+ years in Solution Architecture / Business Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture Core Skills
- Strong experience with CRM and MarTech ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Customer Data Platforms, Campaign Management tools).
- Hands-on experience in AI/GenAI tools and implementation (not just theoretical exposure).
- Experience in system design, architecture, and large-scale solutioning.
- Strong understanding of automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to work in client-facing or consulting roles.
Domain Experience
- Healthcare (preferred)
- Exposure to Finance, Retail, or other industries is a plus Key Competencies
