Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive/Sr. Executive with hands-on experience in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience in Organic NOP (National Organic Program) and OP Certification, ensuring compliance with organic standards, quality systems, food safety regulations, and customer requirements. The role involves managing certification audits, quality documentation, process compliance, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with USDA NOP, OP Certification, and applicable organic standards.
- Maintain Organic System Plans (OSP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and certification documentation.
- Coordinate and manage external certification audits, surveillance audits, and renewal activities with certification bodies.
- Conduct internal quality and process audits to ensure compliance with organic and food safety standards.
- Verify traceability, segregation, and mass balance of organic products throughout procurement, production, packaging, storage, and dispatch.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process quality, finished goods, and packaging materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Investigate customer complaints, quality deviations, and non-conformities; implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Ensure product labeling complies with regulatory and organic certification requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, R&D, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct supplier audits and vendor quality evaluations.
- Maintain audit readiness by ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
- Train employees on GMP, GHP, HACCP, organic compliance requirements, and quality procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an FMCG, Food Processing, or Organic Products company.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Organic NOP and OP Certification.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing certification audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and FSMS.
- Experience in supplier quality management and customer audits.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS systems.

Experience
3–8 years of relevant experience in FMCG/Food Processing with mandatory expertise in Organic NOP and OP Certification.
